I have watched the Academy Awards night last 27th of February 2011 in TV. Honestly, I have not watched yet the film when Portman was announced as the Best Actress for a Lead Role for the movie, The Black Swan.
Two months later, I bought the CD copy of her movie. And I must say, it was one of the most amazing films of Natalie Portman that I have ever watched. I love Natalie. I admire her a lot not just because of her simple beauty but she has the brains too. Only few Hollywood stars graduated from Harvard with a Degree in Psychology. Who else aside from her knows how to speak 6 languages, including English, Hebrew, German, Japanese, Spanish and some French.
In a few words about the movie, Nina, which is being portrayed by Natalie Portman, is a person who lives to dance. She got the role as the Black Swan but the ending is sad. She died after she stabbed herself in the stomach due to hallucinations. It's actually a psychological movie combined with drama and thrilling scenes. And speaking of scenes, there are some which is not really good to be watched by youngsters. The movie has sexual contents, violent images, language and drug use. So, for our little ballerinas, just wait until you're 18 to watch it.
